Cool place! The pizza & drinks were tasty. Full bar & solid draft beer selection. Super friendly staff. We were there for a live music event. An Austin original! We'll be back. The patio is dog friendly.
I went in earlier today for a slice and a coke and Oh boy, little did I know or expect The Three Stooges to be behind the bar. I waited until it was my turn and indicated the slice I wanted and said, I'll take a slice of this, a coke, and a side of parlor sauce. Larry, or was it Curly? handed me a large bottle of Mexican, let me repeat, Mexican Coke and the slice. I turned to Moe and asked, Do y'all not have parlor sauce. Moe asked, why do you want some?

I guess it was Shemp's night off.
Get it together Parlor. David, I know you're better than this.

Wanted to try this out since the food reviews are great and right across from Hyde Park Theater. The food took a long while to come out, almost 30 minutes, ordered a 12" pizza and a salad. Would have liked the salad to begin with followed by the pizza when it was ready. When the waiter brought the food, a slice of pizza fell off and hit the floor. He offered to bring a single slice and I said sure, pepperoni. Never saw him again except to pick up our empty plates 15-20 minutes later. When I got up from my seat, there was still part of the pizza slice on the floor. Not what I expected and even though the pizza is really good, not worth the trip. The salad was a bit blah with only spring greens, sliced cucumbers and red onion, not worth $9. There is a pool table, couple of pinball games and a sit down game as well.
10/10 could never recommend this place enough. i’ve lived in austin 10+ years now and they are always a go-to. the crust is the perfect crunchy/chewy, the sauce is savory not too sweet, and the topping choices and specialties alone are well worth it. friendly staff, great kitchen, what more could you ask for? oh wait, a great special focus on the local hardcore/punk/metal scene. great slice of “old school” austin with a great, consistent pizza.

There’s a great scene here weekend afternoons: older punkish (Everyone is welcome). Lots of good music. Decent pizza. Reasonably priced beer.
